Freedom Boat Club Named To Entrepreneur Magazine Franchise 500®

December 21, 2015, Venice, FL – Freedom Boat Club, the nation’s oldest and largest boat club and the only franchise model of its kind in North America, was named to the exclusive Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500® list for 2015, edging to the #283 ranking position and garnering a full page editorial in the publication’s best-selling January 2016 winner’s issue.

“We are very excited by this year’s ranking and achieving our highest position to date,” said Freedom Boat Club President and CEO John Giglio. “We believe our significant growth over the past year is reflected in this new ranking. Our entire Freedom Boat Club franchise family proudly shares in this significant validation.”

This is the third time Freedom Boat Club has appeared on the Franchise 500®. Besides the annual ranking, Giglio was also interviewed in a full page story that included a photo with him underway and at the helm of a Freedom Boat Club fleet boat. The article’s headline and introduction captured the essence of its focus: “Righting the Ship – With a motivated captain at the helm, a membership boat club sails up the rankings.” The editorial covered Freedom Boat Club’s history and development, with emphasis on its growth under Giglio’s leadership and direction, as well as future expansion plans.

“We appreciate the ranking and the editorial inclusion amongst many successful franchise businesses, and we are very excited about the future,” said Giglio. “We have a strategic plan in place for continued controlled growth and we’re tracking accordingly.”
